A bunch of stopped in here for drinks and good times with friends. We had some glasses of wine and enjoyed the ambiance of this wine bar. It's a great place to catch up with friends in San Francisco, more of a lounge chill vive. Service was great.

Wine bars in San Francisco try to be trendy and keep up with the trends. Some of the wine bars now are becoming AI ( not Artificial Intelligence) but Artificial Infusion of real wine. Nothing like a good bottle or glass of real wine especially in a city that's authentic as San Francisco and depending what district in the city you are located there is a real wine place near you . District wine bar the go to fun place for a fun occasion and even a pregame Giants or Warriors wine up in the San Francisco SOMA. District wine bar offers plenty of wines and been in operations for years. As the website describes District of having Wine & Whiskey for days ( my kind of place). The website ( and my personal testimony) they are globally inspired and locally sourced. They have great wines to pair with anything from tapas to ahi tuna poke, oysters, buttermilk fried chicken, cheese plates and grilled hanger steak. So many varieties to pair it up with such as a Red ,Sparkling, and White Wine. I have been to many events at District either the Oakland location and the San Francisco location and they keep it consistent all around. All natural and locally sourced. When comes to wine I like the real thing full body and consistency When it comes to wine I am down with real wine because of it's efficiency

TLDR: I think you can find something for everyone, but not everything here is a home run. They have an expansive list of food and drink options and lots of lounge seating + high-top tables + bar seating depending on what you're looking for. It's also a large space so it's great for HH or team events in the area. ------ FOOD: * What I'd Get Again: Crispy spiced chicken wings, sea scallops, bread pudding, pear & black current crisp * In the middle: Fries, roasted cauliflower, lamb meatballs, margherita pizza * What I'd Skip: Cheese plate, charcuterie board, mushroom pizza, chocolate pot de creme ------ SERVICE: * Was awesome, our waitress was funny and personable and definitely took care of us ------ ENVIRONMENT: * It's one huge indoor space with a bar at the center and tables / seats all around it. * Lots of TVs around the space playing various things. Would be a great place to grab a drink and watch a sports game after work * The space for large groups of people is on the right and there are lots of little stools and sofas around low coffee tables, so it's not the most comfortable set up but I understand. Because there wasn't much table space though, it was a little tricky to have enough space for new dishes and each of our plates

I think we've been to every District location and San Francisco was the last one we tried. Like other locations, District doesn't disappoint with good food, drinks and service. We came for an early dinner before a Giants game and ordered a few drinks and bites to share. We were seated right away without a reservation for two. The short rib was delicious. The veggie dishes we ordered were tasty too. We can't wait to come back for our wedding cocktail reception in September. This will be my third or fourth event I've hosted with the events team at District. Everything runs smoothly and they make it really easy to host a casual happy hour.

Came here for a happy hour meal and was super impressed. The wings were succulent and plump and the sauce on the side was fantastic. But the star was the pizza - sauce was bursting with tomato flavor like San Marzo sauce and the cheese, olive oil and arugula had me licking my chops. Ranks as one of the best pizzas and the price for all this was fantastic. Absolutely coming back! Service was exceptional.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated. Made late reservations so was seated in the corner back, not bad. Was offered bar seating, but with the family so took the table. Our waiter communicated well and kept us informed about our food and drinks. Checked on us periodically and the flow was good. OMG the breading pudding was amazing! Food was good, but 5 stars for the cocktails.

Warm and friendly vibe welcomed us to this restaurant. I absolutely loved the vibe. We started off with some drinks - loved all the drinks we had there. Ordered house fries and those were crisp and flavorful. Chicken wings were just okay - wasn't the fan of tamarind sauce. Cheese board was outstanding. I requested to keep blue cheese out and they accommodated my request. Staff was very polite and patient on my request to avoid certain kind of cheeses and worked with the kind of cheese. 5 on 5 service!
